In My Humble Opinion Review of Infiltrating her Pack

In My Humble Opinion: Infiltrating Her Pack (Black Hills Wolves #20) by ...: Blurb: The mysterious and intimidating lone wolf, Z, has returned to Los Lobos. Descended from a long line of gifted yet secretive ...

A delightful surprise.  I’ve not read this author before and wasn’t sure from the blurb how this was going to fit in with the Black Hills Wolves.  But the author made it work and we have fun while she does.  I love watching to strong individuals fall for each other.  True these wolves have the chemical reaction from finding their “True Mate” but that only gets them together. Making it work is the fun part.  I got a kick out of the secondary characters as well.
Thanks In My Humble Opinion

Rebel’s Claw - Obsessed by Coffee

Obsessed by Coffee I wrote Rebel’s Claw, my second Black Hill Wolves book, while out of work. I think my own negative emotions helped me dig deep into the character emotions. I’m kind of surprised by what came out. During that time, I developed the habit of going out at least once a week to a coffee shop to get a cappuccino fix. I got a coffee gift card for Christmas, which probably started it all. I also needed to get out of the house and escape the job search once in a while. The caffeine was a nice buzz too. It must have inspired me because Carrie, the heroine, gets flustered and spills coffee whenever Roark nudges too close to her secret.

Character Thursday: Persephone

Image
Please welcome Persephone from Kaitlin Bevis' YA novel 'Persephone'.

Thank you for coming to chat with us today. Why do you think Kaitlin Bevis choose you to represent her? Well, it was my myth that got her inspired to start writing, so I guess I’m kind of a logical choice.
Tell us a little about yourself? Um, okay. My name is Persephone, I’m seventeen, and I kind of just found out I was a goddess. Oh yeah, and I rule the Underworld now, kind of. Well, I help.

Where do you live? Athens, Georgia most of the time. Though I spend a good chunk of my time in the Underworld these days.
What do you wish people would know about you? The myth got everything important wrong. Seriously.
What music do you listen too? I’m a major fan of Orpheus. He’s just an amazing artist. I met him in person once, and he was super nice.

Tell us about your love interest what drew you to him/her? You know, I kind of hated him at first, but the more I got to know him, the more I realized he’s really nice. H…

I created this flavorful recipe in celebration of my new series One Night with the Bridal Party. This is the perfect dessert for a bridal shower or post-wedding brunch. It's also delicious with a cup of tea and a good book.

4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

 Grease and flour a 9 X 5 loaf pan.

Beat butter with an electric mixer for 1 minute. Add sugar to butter, a bit at a time, beating on medium/high for 5 minutes or until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating for one minute after each egg, and scraping the bowl. Add vanilla and beat for another minute. Gradually add nutmeg, baking powder, and flour, beat on low/medium until just combined.

 Pour into prepared pan.
